XY Falcon
The XY the day it arrived to the shop, the boys were in for some long hours on this one
Every panel on the car was either damaged or rusted including the sill panels
Door skin in preparation to be removed
Outer skin removed so the rust repairs on the inner can be completed
The rust was extensive as typical of most 70’s cars so 4 new door skins were required.

The rust was quite extensive through all 4 doors.
Hand made patch panel to replicate the original piece that had completely rusted away

Due to the cost of a replacement bonnet the Inner bonnet frame had to be removed and the bonnet repaired.
Inner frame removed so the repairs can be made

Inner frame welded back in to the repaired bonnet
Roof skin being prepared for removal. Due to the damage this had, it was decided that a replacement roof skin was required.
